Application

It is a pyrethroid insecticide used primarily against the red imported fire ant. It acts by influencing the ant’s nervous system. It is also highly toxic to aquatic organisms.
Bifenthrin is effective against aphids, worms, ants, gnats, moths, beetles, grasshoppers, mites, midges, spiders, ticks, yellowjackets, maggots, thrips, caterpillars, flies, and fleas.
It is mostly used in orchards, nurseries, and homes. In the agricultural sector, it is widely used on crops such as corn.
