Application

It is a member of the pyrethroid family of chemicals which work by disrupting the nervous system of insects, causing paralysis and eventually death.
It attacks a broad spectrum of primary and secondary insect pests. It affects insects that ingest or touch the chemical. Lambda-cyhalothrin can also act as a repellent to many insects.
Products containing lambda-cyhalothrin act as pesticides targeting a wide range of insects including beetles, butterfly larvae, cockroaches, ticks, aphids, flies and mosquitoes.
It can also be used commercially as an insecticide for crop production, and by amateurs in greenhouses, and on indoor and outdoor plants, lawns, and ornamental plants.
